  1. Lesson plan 4 School year: 2020-2021 WEEK 11 Teaching /11 /11 /11 /11 date: Class 4A 4B 4C 4D Period 1. UNIT 6: WHERE’S YOUR SCHOOL? Lesson 1: (part 3-4-5) I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about where a school is - Practise listening, reading and writing about where a school is - Express their concern about name and where a school is II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A.Warm up: Play a game: Whisper Oral comments: ( praise and share) B.New lesson Activity 3. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Have pupils repeat them once and twice - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe the ways students do the task.   2. Lesson plan 4 School year: 2020-2021 - Give oral comments . Activity 4. Look and write: Q-A: -Elicit the pictures: + How many pictures are there? + Where is Nguyen Trai Primary School? ( point to the object in the picture?) - Give pupils time to do the task. Exchange and check their answers. => *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe how to students work in pairs ( co-opration, discipline, the duty of the leader ) - Praise and share: ( Good job/ Perfect/ .) - S’s assessment: + give written comments (focus on the word-spelling). Students check together. Activity 5: Let’s sing: - Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. - Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. - Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions. - Call a group of six to the front of the class. The group sings the first two lines in every stanza and the rest of the class sings the last T’s asessment: oral comments (focus on the word-spelling). C. I’m in Class - Express Sts’ concern about what class someone is in II.Teaching Aids: Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD III.Procedure: A-Warm up: Sing the song: Hello. bonjour? - Oral comments( lyric, intonation, rhythm) - Praise and share B-New lesson. Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat. + Discover the picture: *Q-A -How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? + Listen to the recording a few times ( 3 times) + Listen and repeat line by line. + Say the words in each bubble Activity 2: Point and say. II.Teaching aids: -Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD III.Procedure: A- Warm up: - Ask and answer *Oral: praise and share B-New lesson Activity 4: Listen and number. Discover the picture *Q-A: How many - What is the date in each picture? T plays the recording and Ss listen once or twice. call some ss share answers and give feedback. Warm-up: Game: Slap the board Praise and share B. New lesson: Activity 1: Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Practise pronouncing. * Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. Activity 2: Listen and circle. Then write and say aloud.
