Lesson 2( Part 4-5-6 ) I.Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss can: - Revise some words and phrases about making comparrisons . - Practice listening and reading skills . - Express Sts’ concern about making comparrisons . II.Teaching aids: - Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD III.Procedure: I. Warm up: (3ms) 1. Warm up: Game : Find someone who - Oral comments - Praise and share - *Oral: praise and share Activity 4: Listen and circle. (7ms) Discover the sentences *Q-A: Who’s .? Some ss read the answers aloud , give comments and correct. * Written Comments *Activity 6: Let’s sing: What do they look like? - Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. -Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. - Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doingthe actions. - Call a group of six to the front of the class. The group sings the first two lines in every stanza and the rest of the class sings the last T’s asessment: oral comments ( voice, focus on the word-spelling). IV. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm-up: Game: Slap the board Praise and share B. New lesson: 1.Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus if necessary. Practise pronouncing. * Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. Activity 2: Listen and tick.
