  1. GRADE 5 WEEK 2 ( From 3/9 to 7/9/ 2019) Date of teaching: September 3rd, 2019.(5A,5B) UNIT 1: WHAT’S YOUR ADDRESS? Lesson 3 (1,2,3) I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will: - ask and answer question about someone’s address and mark the stress on the word. - Develop listening and speaking skills. II. Teaching aids. 1. Teacher’s: computer , puppets, flashcards 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures Warm up . - Greeting: talk about where you live . Activity 1. Listen and repeat - Look at book and listen the words and sentences carefully. - Pay attention about the red stress and how to read stress correctly. - Read the words after the tape. - Read the sentences with the correct stress. - Repeat the sentences after the tape - Call on a pair to repeat each line - Practice speaking with the partner - Turn back the role play - Change another partner in groups to practice (close pairs / open pairs) - The leader controls and calls classmate in groups to role play - Other classmates listen and feedback Activity 2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences - Listen to the request of the task and identify the characters in sentences - Listen to the tape carefully - 1st:Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen while they are looking the pictures in their books - 2nd: play the recording for Ss to listen and tick the correct pictures. - Choose one or two Ss to share their answers with their classmates. 1

GRADE 5 - 3rd: play the recording for Ss to check their answers. - Listen to the tape again and compare with the partners (close pairs / open pairs) - Trade the answer together - Feedback for correction - Give out the answers Listen and feedback with the teacher Activity 3. Let’s chant - Run through all the sentences of the chant invididually - Listen the chant carefully - Read the chant after the tape - Read the chant and clap the hand - Practice the chant with classmates - The leader controls and calls classmate in groups to read the chant - Other classmates listen and feedback Ss & T’s asessment: give oral comments (focus on their exact structure, pronunciation, interaction) ___ Date of teaching: September 4th, 2019.(5A,5B) UNIT 1: WHAT’S YOUR ADDRESS? Read and tick yes or no. - Identify the text and what they are reading. - Read and get information to write complete the task. - Trade their answers within pairs or groups to compare together (close pairs / open pairs). - Feedback the answer with the partner. - One student reads the answers aloud to the groups. The others listen and give - comments. Trade the answer for correction. Activity 2. Write about your friend. - Identify the text and what they are writing. - Read and get information to write about your friend - Trade their text within pairs or groups to compare together (close pairs / open pairs) - Comment with the partner - One student reads the answers aloud to the groups. - The others listen and give comments. Activity 3. Project: Draw a house and write its address - Identify the task and what they are drawing. - Draw and color the house on the A4 paper. - Comment some pictures. Color the stars - Read the guiding in the book. - Color all the stars if you can do all the tasks. - Review the knowledge. ___ Date of teaching: September 5th, 2019.(5A,5B) UNIT 2: I ALWAYS GET UP EARLY. WHAT ABOUT YOU? Lesson 1 (1,2,3) I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will: - ask and answer question about someone’s daily routine: What do you do ? I . II. Teaching aids. 1. Teacher’s: computer , flashcards 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures * Warm up Slap the board Activity 1 . Look, listen and repeat Discover the pictures. + How many people are there in this picture? + Who is this? + What is his/her name? - Look at book and listen the dialogue carefully - Underline the new words and the structure in the book - Elicit the word: early, get up, always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, rarely, never: and compare with the partner to feedback. - Repeat the sentences after the tape . 4

Teacher’s: computer , flashcards 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures * Warm up. Play a game: simon says. Activity 1. Listen and tick - Listen to the request of the task and identify the characters in the text - Listen to the tape carefully - 1st:Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen while they are looking the pictures in their books - 2nd: play the recording for Ss to listen and tick the correct pictures.
