Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify two sounds: /ir/ /ur/ /er/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds. - Express students’ concern about weekly activities. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm-up: Game:Slap the board Praise and share B. New lesson: I. Presentation: Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. T plays the recording and Ss listen to do the task * Observation: Focus on spelling Share answers T observes Listen again to check the answer and give feedback. III. Production: Activity 3: Let’s chant. What do you do on ? Introduce about the chant, have Ss listen the whole chant - Read the lyrics of the chant Listen and repeat each sentences in chorus and in groups Sing the whole song and do the actions. * Oral comment: (lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation)       C. Lesson 3: (part 4-5-6) I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Ss revise vocabulary about days of the week and weekly activities. - Read the paragraph about Mai and answer the questions and write about student’s class, the day and weekly activities. - Express concern about weekly activities. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A.Warm up: - chant “What do you do on ?” and clap their hands. T observes, focus on lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation Oral comments. - Chant correctly rhythm and beautifully. B.New lesson Activity 4. Read and answer. - Ask Ss to identify the characters in the picture. - Have a revision of the language: “What is the girl’s name? It’s Monday. 3.No, she doesn’t. 4.She goes swimming on Saturday and visit her grandparents on Sundays. Oral comment: - St’s can match correctly . - St read correctly the questions and answers. 5. Write about you - T introduces the topic “you are going to read the sentences and answer the question ”. - Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary - Have Ss write the answers - Call on some Ss to report their answers. Others listen and comment. Observation: Take-note. - St’s fill correct words in the box to the blank . 6. Project - Introduce the situation. - Explain how to do the exercise: Interview one of your classmates about what he/she does at the weekend( Saturdays and Sundays) . Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about the date today: Date, first, second, third, fourth, January,February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. - Ask and answer questions about date today . Use the sentence: What is the date today? It’s . - Express students’ concern about the date in year. II. Teaching aids: Text book, picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A.Warm up - Some Ss present their homelink before the class. T Gives feedback (pronunciation, performance and voice) Q-A: Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What are they doing? Procedures A.Warm up: Play a game: matching Assessement: ( praise and share) B.New lesson Activity 3. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. The thirty-first of October Activity 5 Let’s sing: -Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. -Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. - Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions. - Call a group of six to the front of the class.
