  1. Lesson plan 4 School year: 2019-2020 WEEK 30 Teaching date: Class 4A 4B 4C Period 1 . UNIT 19: WHAT ANIMALS DO YOU WANT TO SEE? Lesson 1 (Part 1-2) I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify vocabulary about some zoo animals: kangaroo, crocodile, elephant, tiger, monkey, zoo, animal - Ask and answer questions about someone’s desire . Use the model sentence: What animals do you want to see? – I want to see - Express students’ concern about zoo animals. II. Teaching aids: Text book, picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A.Warm up Q-A: How are you? What day is it today? Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What are they doing?   2. Lesson plan 4 School year: 2019-2020 Listen and repeat - T plays the recording, Ss listen and repeat line by line once or twice. - Have Ss repeat the whole dialogue in chorus or in group. (Call on some pairs to do the role play if it’s necessary.) Activity 2. Point and say. Teach the sentence pattern. Ask some questions to elicit the new sentence pattern of the lesson: What animals do you want to see? – I want to see Modeling Point and say - Use textbook Peer assessment (Ss work in pairs to practice asking and answering about someone’s desire? by using the new sentence pattern. -T prepares checklists: pronunciation, structure, interaction for Ss.) Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about zoo animals. -Practiselistening, reading and writing about the zoo animals. - Express their concern about zoo animals. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A.Warm up: Play a game: Rub out and remember Oral comments: ( praise and share) B.New lesson Activity3. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures and the numbers. Have pupils repeat them once and twice - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe the ways students do the task.   4. Lesson plan 4 School year: 2019-2020 - Give oral comments. Activity 4. Look and write: Q-A: -Elicit the pictures: + How many pictures are there? + What animals are they? ( point to the object in the picture?) - Give pupils time to do the task. Exchange and check their answers. => *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe how to students work in pairs ( co-opration, discipline, the duty of the leader ) - Praise and share: ( Good job/ Perfect/ .) - S’s assessment: + give written comments (focus on the word-spelling). Students check together. Activity 5: Let’s play. T guider ss how to play. -Divide class into 2 groups. - Give the time to play. - SS play T’s asessment: oral comments (focus on the word-spelling). C. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify some vocabularies about some animals’ characteristics : zebra, bear, funny, scary, big, fast, beautiful, friendly - Express reasons. Use: Would you like to ? – I’d love to. / Sorry, I can’t. - Express Sts’ concern about zoo animals. II.Teaching Aids: Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD III.Procedure: A-Warm up: Sing the song: What’s your phone number? - Oral comments( lyric, intonation, rhythm) - Praise and share B-New lesson. Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat. + Discover the picture: *Q-A -How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? + Listen to the recording a few times ( 2 times) + Listen and repeat line by line. + Say the words in each bubble Activity 2: Point and say.
