  1. WEEK 4 Teaching date: Tuesday, September 18th 2018 Class: 53, 52, 51 UNIT 2: I ALWAYS GET UP EARLY. HOW ABOUT YOU? Lesson 2: Part 1, 2, 3 I/ Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - identify the vocabulary about frequency: once, twice, times, everyday, - aks and answer question about frequency using: How often ? I everyday/ once / twice aweek/ a month. - express their concern about their friends’s daily routines by asking: What do you do in the morning? How oftendo you ? II. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, puppets. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm up. Sing - T asks Ss to sing a song: “This is the way we do things” Oral( T and ss): give comments: lyrics, rythm and performance. B. New lesson Act. 1. Look, listen and repeat. 8’ - Set the scene by asking and answering some questions. - Listen to the CD. - Listen and repeat twice. Oral:Give comments: pronunciation and voice. Act. 2. Point, ask and answer. 10’ - Give instruction. Q-A: check understanding about the context. - Listen and repeat model sentence. - Learn vocabulary and sentence patterns - check vocab: Slap the board. Observation and Q-A: pronunciation, meaning. - Give other examples to get the form, meaning, intonation, - Ask and answer the questions in pairs. Observation: pronunciation, voice and cooperation.

Let’s talk: 7’ Aims: Ss can ask and answer questions about frequency in real situations. - Give instruction. Q-A: check understanding about the task. - Ask and answer about their daily routines in group of four. Observation: cooperation, pronunciation and structure. - Some groups to talk in front of the class. Observation and Oral: cooperation, pronunciation and structure. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm up. Slap the board.5’ - Give instruction - Play the game Slap the board using words from last lesson such as: once, twice, partner, project Observation and Oral: speed and accuracy. B. New lesson. Act. 1. Listen and number. 8’ - Give instruction Q-A: check understanding of the task

Let’s play: 7’ Aims: Ss can remember the words and sentences pattern through playing the game. - Give instruction. - Students play in two groups. Observation, Written and Oral: spelling and pronunciation. Key: 1. Get dressed, 2. Cook dinner, 3. Have lunch, 4. Do homework, 5. Go home, 6. Go to bed, 7. Listen to music, 8. Get up, 9. Go to school. C. Homelink: 5’ - Talk about their members of family’s daily routines. Teaching date: Thursday, September 20th 2018 Class: 51, 52, 53 UNIT 2: I ALWAYS GET UP EARLY. HOW ABOUT YOU? Lesson 3: 1, 2, 3 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - identify and pronounce two sound words about frequency - ask and answer questions about daily routines - express their concern about daily routines through chanting “What do yuo do in the morning”. II. Teaching aids:

New lesson Act. 1: Listen and repeat: 7’ - Give instruction. - Listen and repeat the words, sentence. focus on stress mark. - Some Ss repeat the wordsand sentences. Oral: feedback (pronunciation, stress, voice) 2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud. 10’ - Give instruction. Q-A: check understanding about the task. - Listen and circle. - Trade the answers in pairs. - Some students to read aloud their answers Oral: give feedback. Key: 1-a, 2-b, 3-a, 4-b 3. Let’s chant: 8’ Aims: Ss can use and remember the words and sentence pattern by chanting. - Teacher introduces the chant - Listen and read each sentence in the chant - Listen and read the whole chant. - Read the chant and clap their hands. - Work in groups to practice. Observation: lyric, rythm, cooperation. - Some groups perform. Observation and Oral: (checklist): lyric, rythm, cooperation C. Homelink: 5’ - Make the new lyrics of the chant at home.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - read and understand the text about daily routines to answer the questions. - wrtie about activities of their day. - express their concern about their friends by interviewing II. Teaching aids: teacher’s and students’ book, cassette, tape, board III. Procedure A. Warm up: 5’ - Read the chant in groups. Oral(T and Ss): Give comments(lyric, rythm, clapping and cooperation). B. New lesson Act. 1. Read and answer: 10’ - Give instruction. Q-A: Ask some questions to check understanding of the task. Who is the text about? What will we do withthe text? How many wuestions are there? What do they mean? - Read the questions and answer. - Trade the answers in pairs for correction Observation& peer correction: spelling, structure, pronunciation. - Some Ss report their answers. Oral: Feedback. structure, pronunciation. Key: 1. She gets up early and goes jogging. 2. She usually does her homework. 3. It’s English for kids. 4. Twice a week. Act. 2.
