OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: understand and correctly repeat the sentences in two communicative contexts to ask and answer questions about someone’s job. -correctly say the words and use Is he / she ____? ->Yes, he / she is. / No, he / she isn’t. to ask and answer questions about someone’s job. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: farmer, singer, cook, nurse - Sentence patterns: Is he / she ? ->Yes, he / she is. / No, he / she isn’t 2. Skills:speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss about asking and answering about someone’s job. Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks Diligence: complete learning tasks Honesty: show someone’s job. Responsibility: appreciate kindness 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: Communication, planning and organization, stress tolerance, initiative Oral Critical thinking: give instructions. Listening: Look, listen and repeat Oral Communication: Let’s talk about asking and answering about someone’s job. Sociability: asking and answering about someone’s job, say good words to others. II. TEACHING AIDS / MATERIALS: - Pictures, textbook, computer, projector, flashcards, recording III. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - correctly pronounce the sounds of the letters er and or in isolation, in the words mother and doctor and in the sentences My mother is a teacher. and My father is a doctor. - identify the words mother and doctor while listening. - say the chant with the correct rhythm and pronunciation. 1.
