Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about time : time, get up, breakfast - Ask and answer questions about where a school is. Use the model sentence: What time is it? It’s (time) . - Express students’ concern about time they often do something . For disabilities: St can read one word about time. II. Teaching aids: Text book, picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A.Warm up. Q-A: How are you? What day is it today? Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What are they doing? Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about time. - Practise listening, reading and writing about what time is it. - Express their concern about what time is it now. For disabilities: St can listen about one hour. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A.Warm up: Play a game: Slap the board Oral comments: ( praise and share) B.New lesson Activity 3. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Look and write: Q-A: -Elicit the pictures: + How many pictures are there? + What time is it? ( point to the object in the picture?) - Give pupils time to do the task. Students check together. Activity 5: Let’s sing: - Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. - Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. - Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions. - Call a group of six to the front of the class. The group sings the first two lines in every stanza and the rest of the class sings the last T’s asessment: oral comments (focus on the word-spelling). C.
