Lesson 3- Part 4,5,6 I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Ss revise vocabulary about school and class - Read the paragraph and complete - Write about your school - Express concern about their school and class. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A-Warm up: - chant “School, School, School” T observes, focus on lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation Oral comments. - Chant correctly rhythm and beautifully. B-New lesson Activity 4. Read and complete. - Ask Ss to identify the content in the paragraph. - Read 3 questions and identify the characters in each pictures. - Ask Ss to read the paragraph and complete. - Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary - Call on some Ss to report their answers. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about what someone like doing: swimming, cooking, collecting stamps, riding a bike - Ask and answer questions about what someone like doing. Use the model sentence: What do you like doing? I like +Ving + (noun) - Express students’ concern about what they like doing. II. Teaching aids: Textbook, picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A.Warm up Q-A: How are you? What class are you in? What’s the name of your school? Where is your school? Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What are they doing? (Call on some pairs to do the role play if it’s necessary.) Activity 2. Point and say. T teachs the vocabulary about activities (Ving) Check: “Slap the board”. Oral comments Teach the sentence pattern. Ask some questions to elicit the new sentence pattern of the lesson: What do you like doing? Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about what someone like doing - Practise listening, reading and writing about what someone like doing - Express their concern about what they like doing II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A.Warm up: Play a game: Look and guess Oral comments: ( praise and share) B.New lesson Activity 3. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Have pupils repeat them once and twice - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class *T’assessment: ( quick notes) observe and oral comments .   6. Lesson plan 4 School year: 2019-2020 Activity 4. Look and write: Q-A: -Elicit the pictures: + How many pictures are there? + What does Nam like doing? ( point to the object in the picture?) - Give pupils time to do the task. Exchange and check their answers. => Ask and answer *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe how to students work in pairs ( co-opration, discipline, the duty of the leader ) - Praise and share: ( Good job/ Perfect/ .) - S’s assessment: + give written comments (focus on the word-spelling). Students check together. Activity 5: Let’s sing: I like doing things - Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. - Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. - Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions. - Call a group of six to the front of the class. The group sings the first two lines in every stanza and the rest of the class sings the last T’s asessment: oral comments (focus on the word-spelling). C. I like + Ving + (noun) - Express Sts’ concern about their hobbies II.Teaching Aids: Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD III.Procedure: A- Warm up: Sing the song: I like doing things. - Oral comments( lyric, intonation, rhythm) - Praise and share B-New lesson. Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat. + Discover the picture: *Q-A -How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? + Listen to the recording a few times ( 3 times) + Listen and repeat line by line. + Say the words in each bubble Activity 2: Point and say.
