Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify two sounds: /fl/ /pl/ - Chanting :Flying a little kite - Express students’ concern about hobby. II. Teaching aids: CD player III. Procedure: 1. Warm-up: Greeting Ask about hobby What do you like doing ? What’s your hobby ? T gives oral comments( focus on their exact structure, pronounciation, intonation) 2. New lesson: Activity 1:Listen and repeat Step1: Discover the sounds: - Which sounds are they? - Read aloud them? Step 2: Listen and repeat.10 ms - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Step 3: Share ideas - Focus on the pronunciation of these sounds, lead in the new part. 1

Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about school subjects - Ask and answer questions about school subjects. - Express students’ concern about school subjects II. Teaching aids: Text book, picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: 1.Warm up Q-A: How are you? What day is it today? What’s the name of your school? Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. 2. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Step 1: Discover the picture: 6

Step 2: - Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. Step 3 : Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions. - Call a group of six to the front of the class.
