  1. Monday, November 12th 2018 English (4.2-4.3-4.1) UNIT 7: WHAT DO YOU LIKE DOING? LESSON 1 :1-2 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about what someone like doing: swimming, cooking, collecting stamps, riding a bike - Ask and answer questions about what someone like doing. Use the model sentence: What do you like doing? I like +Ving + (noun) - Express students’ concern about what they like doing. II. Teaching aids: Textbook, picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: 1.Warm up Q-A: How are you? What class are you in? What’s the name of your school? Where is your school? Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. 2. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Step1: Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What are they doing? Step2: Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson. Listen and repeat Step3:- T plays the recording, Ss listen and repeat line by line once or twice. Step 4:- Have Ss repeat the whole dialogue in chorus or in group. (Call on some pairs to do the role play if it’s necessary.) Activity 2. Point and say. 1

Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about what someone like doing - Practise listening, reading and writing about what someone like doing - Express their concern about what they like doing II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures 1.Warm up: Play a game: Look and guess Oral comments: ( praise and share) 2.New lesson Activity 3. Listen and tick Step1 : Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Have pupils repeat them once and twice Step 2:Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers Step 3:Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class *T’assessment: ( quick notes) observe and oral comments . 4
  5. Activity 4. Look and write: Step1 - Elicit the pictures: + How many pictures are there? + What does Nam like doing? ( point to the object in the picture?) Step2 :- Give pupils time to do the task. Exchange and check their answers. => Ask and answer *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe how to students work in pairs ( co-opration, discipline, the duty of the leader ) - Praise and share: ( Good job/ Perfect/ .) - S’s assessment: + give written comments (focus on the word-spelling). Students check together. Activity 5: Let’s sing: I like doing things Step 1: - Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. Step 2:- Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. Step 3- Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions. Step 4- Call a group of six to the front of the class. The group sings the first two lines in every stanza and the rest of the class sings the last T’s asessment: oral comments (focus on the word-spelling). 3. Mục tiêu: Kiến thức – kĩ năng: Vận dụng kiến thức,kĩ năng đã học để thực hành làm được một sản phẩm yêu thích. - Thái độ: Hào hứng, yêu thích môn học. - Năng lực: Vận dụng thực hành làm một sản phẩm tặng bạn bè, người thân. II. Chuẩn bị ĐDDH: GV: 1 số sản phẩm khâu, thêu đã học.Tranh ảnh. III. Hoạt động dạy học: - Nhóm trưởng kiểm tra dụng cụ – báo cáo chủ tịch HĐTQ – Báo cáo GV. A.HOẠT ĐỘNG CƠ BẢN. 1.Ôn tập những nội dung đã học. Việc 1: HS suy luận và nhớ lại các nội dung đã được học. Việc 2: Thảo luận với bạn bên cạnh về những gì tìm hiểu được. Việc 3: NT điều hành nhóm hoạt động, chia sẽ kết quả . HĐTQ tổ chức chia sẽ trước lớp. 2. H thảo luận nhóm để chọn sản phẩm thực hành. Việc 1: HS chọn sản phẩm mình muốn làm. Việc 2: Thảo luận với bạn bên cạnh về để thống nhất ý kiến Việc 3: NT điều hành nhóm hoạt động, chia sẽ kết quả và đi đến thống nhất của nhóm. HĐTQ tổ chức chia sẽ trước lớp. - Nội dung đánh giá: Hs chọn được sản phẩm mà mình muốn thực hành, Bước đầu chuẩn bị đầy đủ các nguyên liệu cần thiết cho sản phẩm của mình - Phương pháp: Quan sát, vấn đáp. - Kĩ thuật: Đặt câu hỏi và nhận xét bằng lời.
