  1. GRADE 3 WEEK 5 ( From 23/9 to 27/9 /2019) Date of teaching: September 23rd, 2019.(3A,3B) UNIT 3: THIS IS TONY Lesson 3: Part 1-2-3 I. Objectives: - By at the end of the lesson, Ss can listen and repeat the sound “t” and “y”. (weak s can say again, strong s can speak fluently ). *Skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing. II. Teaching aids: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, workbooks. III. Teaching processes: Warm up: Chatting - Talk about introduce someone -Ask ps to practice in pairs 1. Listen and repeat -Ask Ss tolook at their book, listen the CD and repeat each line of the chant. Focus Ps’ attention on the t and y sounds - Play the CD and have Ps repeat the chant in chorus.( 2 times) - Ss practice the sounds carefully 2.Listen and write - T runs through the sentences. - T asks Ss to predict the pictures that they will hear. - T checks their guess, then play the tape , Ss listen 2 times and circle - Ss read aloudly the sentences .T and Ss corrects. 1
  2. GRADE 3 3.Let’s chant -Introduce the Chant. Turn on the tape. Ps chant and do the action. - Listen to the tape and repeat the chant in group and individual. Assessement: - Ss’s vocabulary . you remember the vocabulary - Ss’s structure: you can use the question “ ” exactly - Ss’s chant: you chant beautifully/well/wonderfully 4.Consolidation - Teacher reinforce their pronunciation - Do exercises in workbook. ___ Date of teaching: September 24th, 2019.(3A,3B) UNIT 3: THIS IS TONY Lesson 3: Part 4-5-6 I. Objectives: - By at the end of the lesson, Ss can read and write a text about introduce someone. (Good Ss can do Ex well, weak Ss can write the text ) *Skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing II. Teaching aids: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, workbooks. III. Teaching processes: Warm up: -Ask sts to Read the chant -Read the chant again 4. Read and complete 2

Look, read and write -Have a revision of the language. Get Ss to complete the sentences on page 23 - Report your answers. Others listen and comment. Practice in pairs and complete the sentences with the pictures. 6. Project -T explains the situation and how to do the exercise - Ask Ss to read requests, prepare A4 and make at home Then display in English corner. ___ Date of teaching: September 25th, 2019.(3A,3B) UNIT 4: HOW OLD ARE YOU? Lesson 1: Part 1-2 -3 I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to: ask and answer questions about someone. *Skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing. II. Teaching aids: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Teaching processes: Warm up: Singing a song -Ask sts to sing a song 3
  4. GRADE 3 1. Look, listen and repeat. * Teach vocabulary: who check vocab: slap the board -Ask Ss to open the book and look at the picture on page 24 . Set the scene “Who are they? Where? What are they doing?” -Play the recording and ask Ss to listen to the tape (2times) and repeat( 2 times) -Ask Ss work in pairs to role play *Model sentence: Who’s that? - It’s -Tsets the sence. - T elicits Ss to give the model sentences. 2. Point and say - T runs through the pictures. - T models. - T asks Ss to work in groups. - T calls Ss to practice in front of the class and comments on. 3.Let’s Talk - T runs through the questions. - T asks Ss to work in pairs. - T calls Ss to practice in front of the class - Ss and T comment on. Assessment: - You listen and pay attention to their questions and answers; their voice & pronunciation; their intonation, their communication (Do they communicate or only read a question? ___ 4

Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to ask and answer questions about someone. *Skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing. II. Teaching aids: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Teaching processes: Warm up : - Ask and answer about someone 4. Listen and tick - T runs through the sentences. - T asks Ss to predict the pictures that they will hear. - T checks their guess, then play the tape , Ss listen 2 times - Ss compare the answer with the partner .T controls and corrects. - T asks Ss to retell the text 5. Read and write -Ask Ss to read the answers aloud to the class. The others listen and give comments. - Read silently and complete the dialogues - Ss check 6. Let’s write - Ask Ss to look the pictures and the question. - Read silently and complete the sentences into their notebook 5
  6. GRADE 3 - Ss check. T’assessment: Go around and Observe if the students can colour exactly. Ss & T’s asessment: give oral comments (focus on their exact structure, pronunciation, interaction) ___ 6
