  1. Giáo án English 3: Date of teaching: 3B: 5/9/2018 UNIT 3: THIS IS TONY Lesson 1 (Part 1-2-3) I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about introduce someone - Introduce someone - Express students’ concern about introduce someone II. Teaching aids: Text book, picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up - Sing the song T gives feedback (pronunciation, performance and voice) Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What are they doing? (Call on some pairs to do the role play if it’s necessary.) Activity 2. Point and say. T teach Vocabularies: this, Tony and the sentence pattern. Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about introduce someone. - Pactise listening, reading and writing about introducing someone - Express their concern about introducing someone II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures Warm up: Call some pairs to introduce their friends in front of the class. Assessement: ( praise and share) Activity 4. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Look and write Q-A: - Elicit the pictures: + How many words are there? + What’s this? ( point to the object in the picture?) - Give pupils time to do the task, swap and check their answers. => peer-assessment - Do choral and individual repetition *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe how to students work in a group ( co-opration, discipline, the duty of the leader ) - Praise and share: ( Good job/ Perfect/ .) Activity 6 Let’s sing: - Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. - Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. - Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doing the actions. - Call a group of four or six in front of the class. The group sings the first two lines and the rest of the class sings the last T’s asessment: give written comments (focus on the word-spelling). IV.
