  1. WEEK 9 School Year: 2020- 2021 UNIT 5: ARE THEY YOUR FRIENDS? Lesson 3 ( part 1-2-3) I/ Aim: By the end of the lesson, pupils will able to : - Identify two sounds: /a/ /e/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds. - Express students’ concern about someone II. Teaching aids: Student book Tieng Anh 3, Unit 5, page 34; CD. III/ Procedures: * Warm up: - Chatting: Q-A: 1.What’s your name? 2. How old are you? 3.Tell me some name of your friends Oral comment( fluence, pronounciation, body language) IV . New lesson: 1. Listen and repeat: - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Practise pronouncing. * Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. 2. Listen and write: - T plays the recording and Ss listen to do the task * Observation: Focus on spelling Share answers T observes Listen again to check the answer and give feedback. WEEK 9 School Year: 2020- 2021 WARM UP: -Play game: slap the board: Oral comment ( praise and share) 1.Listen and tick - Tell Ss that they are going to listen and tick the correct boxes. - Give Ss a few seconds to look at the pictures. - Check comprehension and elicit information in the pictures and give feedback - Play the recording three times for Ss to listen, do the task and check their answers. - Get Ss to swap and check their answers before checking as a class. - Explain the answers and give further support to Ss who got more than half of the answers wrong. quick note, oral comment Key: 1b 2a 3a 4b 5b 2.
