  1. Week 21 Date of teaching: UNIT 12: THIS IS MY HOUSE Lesson 2: 1,2,3 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify some vocabulary about house facilities. - Ask and answer question about house facilities Using Is there a ? – Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t - Express Sts’ concern about house facilities II.Teaching Aids: CD player. III. Procedures A. Warm up: Game : WHO IS FASTER? - QA: Sts’ vocabualaries about rooms in the house - Oral comments - Praise and share B. New lesson. Activity 1: Listen and repeat Discover the sounds: - Which sounds are they? - Read aloud them? Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Practise pronouncing. Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. II. Practice: Activity 2: Listen and write. T plays the recording and Ss listen to do the task * Observation: Focus on spelling Share answers T observes

Introduce about the chant, have Ss listen the whole chant - Read the lyrics of the chant Listen and repeat each sentences in chorus and in groups Sing the whole song and do the actions. * Oral comment: (lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation)       C. Homelink: Chant with their friend’s age. Warm up: (3ms) house facilities *Oral: B. New lesson: Activity 1: Listen and number. (7ms) Discover the picture *Q-A: How many T plays the recording and Ss listen once or twice.

New lesson: Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat
  4. Step1: Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? Step 2: Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson. Step 3: Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Objectives By the end of this unit, Ss will be able to: - Review the vocabulary about the location of things in the house. - Practise listening, reading and writing about the location of things in the house. - Express their concern about the location of things in their house. II. Teaching aids: E-board, computer, CD tracks III. Procedure A.Warm up: Sing a song B. New lesson: Warm up: Call some pairs ask and answer Where’s the ?-It’s here/there. Activity 4 Listen and tick * Pre- listening: - Ask students to look at the pictures and then identify the content of pictures in their book. - Call some students to guess before they listen * While- listening: - Play the tape twice - Students listen and tick into a correct picture - Call some students read their answer. T corrects * Post- listening: - Teacher plays the tape again and asks each student to repeat. Look and write * Pre- writing: Ask students to look at the picture and say what they see * While- writing: - Ask students to look at the pictures and write the correct words - Calls students to write the answers on the board. Let’s sing - Teacher plays the song: + 1st: students listen + 2nd: stop each sentence in the song and asks sing along + 3rd: students sing in chorus - Divide class into three groups and song. Which group song are good, that group is the winner.
