  1. Week 16 UNIT 9: WHAT COLOUR IS IT? Lesson 3: Part 1,2,3 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify two sounds: /i/ /o/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds. - Express students’ concern about colour of things (express Ss’ love about color by chanting What color is it?) II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm-up: Game:Slap the board * Q&A What colour is this pen? What colour is this ruler? B. New lesson: I. Presentation: Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Practise pronouncing. * Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. II. Practice: Activity 2: Listen and write. T plays the recording and Ss listen to do the task
  2. * Observation: Focus on spelling Share answers T observes Listen again to check the answer and give feedback. III. Production: Activity 3: Let’s chant. What colour is it? Introduce about the chant, have Ss listen the whole chant - Read the lyrics of the chant Listen and repeat each sentences in chorus and in groups Sing the whole song and do the actions. * Oral comment: (lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation)       C. Homelink: - Share what you’ve learnt with your family. Rewrite the chant about your school things Ex: What color is the pen? UNIT 9: WHAT COLOR IS IT? Lesson 3- Part 4,5,6 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Practice read and write about color. - Color the rainbow, write a report and talk about it. - Express their concern about colours. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures
  3. A. Warm up: - chant “What colour is it?” and clap their hands. T observes, focus on lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation Oral comments. - Chant correctly rhythm and beautifully. B. New lesson: Activity 4. Read and match. - read the questions and match the correct answers. - share their answers. - T calls some pupils to read their answers aloud and gives comments. Oral comment: - St’s can match correctly . - St read correctly the questions and answers. Activity 5. Read and complete. - Read and write the correct words and phrases for the exercise. - Get Ss to write their answers on the board. - Check and correct mistakes Observation: Take-note. - St’s fill correct five words in the box to the blank . Activity 6. Project. Motivate - Color and describe your school things Example: This is my rainbow. It is + (colour) - Have Ss stick their rainbows on the walls of the classroom and choose the best five.

Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about break-time activities. - Ask and answer questions about break-time activities, using What do you do at break-time? – I play +sport. - Express students’ concern about their friends’ break-time activities by using question “What do you do at break-time? – I play + sport”. II. Teaching aids: Text book, Picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up - Play game: Slap the board . T Gives feedback Praise Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Where are they? - Who are they? - What is it? Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson. Listen and repeat - T plays the recording, Ss listen and repeat line by line once or twice.
  5. - Have Ss repeat the whole dialogue in chorus or in group. (Call on some pairs to do the role play if it’s necessary.) Activity 2. Point and say. Ask Ss to revise the vocabulary about sports and games by playing the game “Matching”. T gives comments ( checklist) Teach the sentence pattern. Ask some questions to elicit the new sentence pattern of the lesson. “What do you do at break-time? – I play +sport.” Modeling Point and say - Use textbook Peer assessment (Ss work in pairs to practice asking and answering about school things by using the new sentence pattern. (10ms) Ask Ss to play the game “Noughts and Crosses” Introduce the rules of the game and model. - SS play. Praise. C.Home-link: Draw the sports you like. UNIT 10: WHAT DO YOU DO AT BREAKTIME? Lesson 1: (part 4-5-6) I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about sports . - pactise Listening, Reading and writing the school things - Express their concern about the school things around them. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer

Procedures A.Warm up: - Game: Network: Assessement: ( praise and share) - Ss’s vocabulary about sports and games: table tennis, football, badminton, chess B. New lesson: Activity 4. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Have pupils repeat them once and twice - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class Key: *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe the ways students do the task. - Give oral comments (distinguish the words “table tennis, football, badminton, chess Activity 5. Read and write Q-A: - Elicit the pictures: + How many people are there? + Who is he/ she? + What are they doing? ( point to the picture?) - Give pupils time to do the task, swap and check their answers. => peer-assessment - Do choral and individual repetition *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe how to students work in a group ( co-opration, discipline, the duty of the leader ) - Praise and share: ( Good job/ Perfect/ .) - S’s assessment: + give written comments (focus on the word-spelling).
