Lesson 1 Part 4,5,6 I/ Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to listen and write about lessons. B. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. C. Procedures: I. Warm up. Slap the board. - Play the game Slap that word,. - Using words from last lesson such as: beach, school, sea, countryside, city II.Practice. 4. Listen and tick. - T asks Ss to look at the pictures. - T asks Ss to guess. -T calls 2 groups answer. - Plays the tape for students to listen and tick. - Asks students to correct their answers in partners - Provides the answers and explanations Answers: 5. Read and complete. -T asks Ss to read the paragraph. - Then , T asks Ss to look at the questions and the answers. -T asks Ss to guess and do in their notebook - Calls some students to do the task in front of the class. - Asks students to work in pairs to check about their answer. 6. Lesson 3 :Part 1,2,3 A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will can use the words and phrases related to the topic and Ss can pronounce Ss can pronounce By the end of this unit, pupils can say questions and answers with the correct sentence stress. Warm up. Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by inviting a few pupils to ask and answer the questions in Activity 5. - Introduces the new lesson. II. Presentation: 1. Listen and repeat. - LESSON PLAN 5 • Tell the class that they are going to practise saying questions and answers with the correct sentence stress. • Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and follow in their books. Then play it again for them to repeat the sentences twice. Language note: The words which are usually stressed in sentences are nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Sometimes, words such as this, that, these, those and other words are stressed when the speaker wants to emphasize particular information. 2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud. • Tell the class that they are going to listen and circle a or b to complete the sentences. • Give them a few seconds to read the sentences in silence before playing the recording twice for them to do the task. • Get them to compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class. Key: 1 a, b 2 b, a 3.Let’s chant. • Tell the class that they are going to say the chant How often do you have ? Have them read the chant and check their comprehension. • Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and follow in their books. Play it again for them to repeat each line. • Put the class into two groups to practise chanting the questions and answers respectively. • Have them practise saying the chants and doing actions in groups. • Invite two or three groups to say the chant and do actions.
