Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. C. Procedures: I. Warm up. Slap the board. - Play the game Slap that word,. - Using words from last lesson such as: beach, school, sea, countryside, city II.Practice. 4. Listen and tick. - T asks Ss to look at the pictures. - T asks Ss to guess. -T calls 2 groups answer. - Plays the tape for students to listen and tick. - Asks students to correct their answers in partners - Provides the answers and explanations Answers: 5. LESSON PLAN 5 • Tell the class that they are going to practise saying questions and answers with the correct sentence stress. • Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and follow in their books. Then play it again for them to repeat the sentences twice. Language note: The words which are usually stressed in sentences are nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Sometimes, words such as this, that, these, those and other words are stressed when the speaker wants to emphasize particular information. 2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud. • Tell the class that they are going to listen and circle a or b to complete the sentences. • Give them a few seconds to read the sentences in silence before playing the recording twice for them to do the task. • Get them to compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class.
