  1. GRADE 5 WEEK 29 (From 26/3 to 30/3/2018) UNIT 17: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO EAT? Lesson 1(Part 1, 2, 3) I.Objectives: After the lesson, students are able to: + Ask and answer questions about what someone would like to eat or drink. + Develop listening and speaking skill II. Language focus: Vocabulary: help, bowl,eat, noodle, fish, drink, apple juice, glass, water, packet, biscuit, bar, chocolate, carton, lemonade, food, healthy, sandwich, lunch, breakfast, dinner, buy, meal. Sentence Patterns: What would you like to eat/drink? – I’d like , please. Steps and time Sts’ and T’s activities Modes - T lets Ss play the game: Slap the board to W-Class 1. Warm-up: 3’ check vocabulary. Pairs -T follows the steps of presenting new W-class words. help, bowl,eat, noodle, fish, drink, Individual apple juice, glass, water, packet, biscuit, 2. Warm-up: - Stick some pictures of pet on the board W-Class 3’ then start the game “Slap the board”. Individual - Congrat the winner group. 2. -T recalls all the new words. W-class Vocabulary: -Sts follows T’s instructions. Individual 2’ -T elicits the pictures. -T reads listening text. W-class -Sts listen and tick pictures. Individual -Some Ss call out the answers. W-class 3. Listen and -Others give comments. Key: tick: 10’ 1/b 2/a 3/b 4/c -T tells the context and completes the sentences. - Give a few seconds for Ss to read and look at the pictures. W-class 4. Read and - Check comprehension and elicit the words complete: 10’ Groups to fill the gaps. W-class - Ask Ss do the task. - Check their answers. - Do choral and individual repetition. 5. Vocabulary: sausage, banana, rice, bottle, egg, little. Sentence patterns: How many/much do you eat/drink everyday? – I eat/drink

Language focus Intonation: What would you like to eat? – I’d like a banana, please. Sentence patterns: review III. Resources: Pictures, Puppets, Sts’ book.
