  1. GRADE 3 WEEK 7 ( From 7/10 to 11/10 /2019) Date of teaching: October 7th, 2019.(3A,3B) UNIT 5: ARE THEY YOUR FRIENDS? Lesson 1: Part 1-2 -3 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to introduce one’s friend and respond to the introduction *Skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing. II. Teaching aids: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Teaching processes: Warm up: Chatting -Ask sts to chat with their partner about name -Pair works 1. Look, listen and repeat. * Teach vocabulary: they, friend check vocab: slap the board -Ask Ss to open the book and look at the picture on page 30 . Set the scene “Who are they? Where? What are they doing?” -Play the recording and ask Ss to listen to the tape (2times) and repeat( 2 times) -Ask Ss work in pairs to role play *Model sentence: This is my friend, . -Tsets the sence. - R.O.R dialogue. - T gives the model sentences. 2. Point and say - T runs through the pictures. - T models. - T asks Ss to work in pairs. - T calls Ss to practice in front of the class and comments on. T’s asessment: give oral comments (focus on their exact structure, pronunciation, interaction) 3 Let’s Talk - T runs through the questions. - T asks Ss to work in group 4. - T calls Ss to practice in front of the class 1

Do exercises in workbook, learn by heart the new words -Point the pictures and practise. ___ Date of teaching: October 8th, 2019.(3A,3B) UNIT 5: ARE THEY YOUR FRIENDS? Lesson 1: Part 4-5-6 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to introduce one’s friend and respond to the introduction *Skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing. II. Teaching aids: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Teaching processes: Warm up : - Introduce their friends - Greeting 4. Listen and tick - T runs through the picture. - T asks Ss to predict the pictures that they will hear. - T checks their guess, then play the tape , Ss listen 2 times - Ss compare the answer with the partner .T controls and corrects. - T asks Ss to retell the text 5. Read and write -Ask Ss to read the answers aloud to the class. The others listen and give comments. - Read silently and complete the dialogues - Ss check 6. Let’s sing The more we are together, Page 31. -Play the recording and listen to The more we are together. Play the recording again for pupils to sing each line of the rhythm. -Listen and sing -Practise singing and doing the actions in groups - Review the whole lesson. 2

Objectives: -By the end of this lesson, Students will be able to ask and answer the questions about friend *Skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing. II. Teaching aids: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, puppets, workbooks. III. Teaching processes: Warm up: - Sing The more we are together - Sing the song again 1. Look, listen and repeat. * Teach vocabulary: are, aren’t check vocab: ROR -Ask Ss to open the book and look at the picture on page 31 . Set the scene “Who are they? Where? What are they doing?” -Play the recording and ask Ss to listen to the tape (2times) and repeat( 2 times) -Ask Ss work in pairs to role play *Model sentence: Are your friends? - Yes, they are. - No, they aren’t -Tsets the sence. - R.O.R dialogue. - T gives the model sentences. 2. Teaching processes: Warm up: Play game: Crosswords -Ask sts to play in 2 groups 4. Listen and number -T runs through the picture. -T asks Ss to predict the pictures that they will hear. -T plays the tape . -T controls and corrects. - T asks Ss to retell the text 5. Read and complete -Ask Ss to read the answers aloud to the class. The others listen and give comments. - Read silently and complete the dialogues - Ss check 6. Write about you and your friend -Have a revision of the language. Get Ss to answer the questions on page 33 in pairs 4
