Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss wil be able to: - Develop reading and writing skills by: + Read the passage about Sports Day and tick the table. + Write about the Sports Day. - Draw three sports and talk about them. * For disable students: Vang (5A) can read and tick, draw sports. II. Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book, radio - Students: Student’s book, notebook, III. Procedures * Warm up: Chant: “ What are they going to do?” Assessement: - Ss’s vocab: Chant the sentences with the right intonation combine with their actions. - Ss’s chant: you chant beautifully/ well/ wonderfully Activity 1: 4. Read and tick - Guide Ss how to do the task. - Give pupils sufficient time to do the task. - Read the passage and check pupils’ comprehension - Share their answers. - Feedback. - Ask and answer questions. Can you tell the name of that book? S2: Is the main character a boy / gilr / man ? S1: Yes / No . S3: Is it the ? S1: Yes / No . Activity 1: 4. II.Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book, radio. - Students: Student’s book, notebook, pen, ruler III. Procedures: *Warm up: - Sing an English song. Activity 1: 1.Read and listen to the story. - Discover the picture: + Who are they? + Where are they? - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in groups if necessary.
