  1. Week 27 UNIT 16: DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS? Lesson 2( Part 4+ 5 +6 ) I.Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss can: - Revise vocabularies about the places . - Practice listening and reading skills by using the question : “Where are the .? They are ” - Express their concern about location of pets. II.Teaching aids: - Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD III.Procedure: A. Warm up: (3ms) - T hold a game about the location of things in the classroom. *Oral: B. New lesson: Activity 1: Listen and number. (7ms) Discover the picture *Q-A: What pets are there ? Where are they? T plays the recording and Ss listen once or twice. - call some ss share answers and give feedback. Key: Q.A ( focus on questions : What pets are there ? Where are they? Activity 2: Read and write (12ms) T ask ss identify the task . - ss read the sentences and do the task. - Some ss read the answers aloud , give comments and correct. * Written Comments Activity 3: Let’s sing. Ss read sentence by sentence. -Ss listen to the model song and sing following. - sing in groups - some groups act out in class. A. Oral comments( focus on pronunciation, voice and intonations). C . Homelink (3ms) Draw some things in the room you like. UNIT 16: DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS? Lesson 3: Part 1,4,5 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to:
  2. - Identify two sounds: /o/ /o/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds. - Practice reading and writing about pets and the location of pets - Express students’ concern about the location of pets II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm-up: Game:matching (Cats/ parrots/ rabbits/ goldfish/ cage/ tank) * Q&A What pets is this? Where is ? B. New lesson: I. Presentation: Activity 1: Listen and repeat Listen, repeat and write - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. - Practise pronouncing. * Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. - T plays the recording and Ss listen to do the task * Observation: Focus on spelling - Share answers T observes - Listen again to check the answer and give feedback. II. Practice: Activity 4. Read and match. - Read the sentences and match the correct answers. - Share their answers. - T calls some pupils to read their answers aloud and gives comments. Oral comment: - St’s can match correctly. - St read correctly the questions and answers.

Read and write. - SS look at the pictures. - Read and write the correct answers for the exercise. - Get Ss to write their answers on the board. - Check and correct mistakes Observation: Take-note. - St’s fill correct words and phrases in the text to the blank . C.Home – link. Activity 6. Project. - Draw a picture of your pet and tell your class about it. - Have Ss stick their picture on the walls of the classroom and choose the best five. portfolio. (coloring, content - vocabulary/ structure, pronunciation) UNIT 17: WHAT TOYS DO YOU LIKE? LESSON 1 (Part 1-2-3) I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about toys: trucks, dolls, kites, planes - Ask and answer questions about toys using” What toys do you like? I like .” - Express students’ concern about their toys by using question ” What toys do you like? I like .” II. Teaching aids: Text book, Picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up - Play game: Slap the board . T Gives feedback Praise Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Where are they? - Who are they? - What is it? Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson.
  4. Listen and repeat - T plays the recording, Ss listen and repeat line by line once or twice. - Have Ss repeat the whole dialogue in chorus or in group. (Call on some pairs to do the role play if it’s necessary.) Activity 2. Point and say. Ask Ss to revise the vocabulary about toys by playing the game “Matching”. T gives comments ( checklist) Teach the sentence pattern. Ask some questions to elicit the new sentence pattern of the lesson. “What toys do you like? I like .” Modeling Point and say - Use textbook Peer assessment (Ss work in pairs to practice asking and answering about toys by using the new sentence pattern. T prepares checklists: pronunciation, structure, interaction for Ss.) T observes and gives feedback Activity 3. Let’s talk. (10ms) Ask Ss to play the game “Noughts and Crosses” Introduce the rules of the game and model. - SS play. Praise. C.Home-link: Draw the toys you like. UNIT 17: WHAT TOYS DO YOU LIKE? Lesson 1: (part 4-6) I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about toys . - pactise Listening, Reading and writing the toys - Express their concern about the toys around them. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
  5. III. Procedures A.Warm up: - Game: Network: Assessement: ( praise and share) - Ss’s vocabulary about toys: a ball, a car, a robot, a doll B. New lesson: Activity 4. Listen and tick Commented [A1]: - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Have pupils repeat them once and twice - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class Key: *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe the ways students do the task. - Give oral comments (distinguish the words “a ball, a car, a robot, a doll Activity 5. Read and write Q-A: - Elicit the pictures: + Who are they? + Where are they? + What are they doing? ( point to the picture?) - Give pupils time to do the task, swap and check their answers. => peer-assessment - Do choral and individual repetition *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe how to students work in a group ( co-opration, discipline, the duty of the leader ) - Praise and share: ( Good job/ Perfect/ .) - S’s assessment: + give written comments (focus on the word-spelling). Students check together. Key: Activity 6 : Let’s write - Give students a few seconds read the sentences in silence. * * Q-A: Check comprehension and give feedback - Get students to write the anwer in individually - S write on their notebooks. - T correct - Call a few open pairs to read their answer=> peer-assessment C.Home-link: Talk about the toys they like.
