Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about pets. - Ask and answer questions about pets, using Do you have any ? – Yes, I do/ No, I don’t. - Express students’ concern about their pets by using question “Do you have any ? – Yes, I do/ No, I don’t. II. Teaching aids: Text book, Picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up - Sing “I have a pet” and clap their hands. T Gives feedback (pronunciation, performance and voice) Q-A: Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Where are they? - Who are they? - What is it? Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson. - Listen and repeat - T plays the recording, Ss listen and repeat line by line once or twice. - Have Ss repeat the whole dialogue in chorus or in group. (Call on some pairs to do the role play if it’s necessary.) Activity 2. Point and say. Ask Ss to revise the vocabulary about pets by playing the game “Matching”. Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about pets. - Practise Listening, Reading and writing about pets. - Express their concern about the pets around them. II. Procedures A.Warm up: - slap the board: cats/ parrots/rabbits/gofish/dogs Assessement: ( praise and share) - Ss’s vocabulary about pets: you remember some objects related to pets( cage, tank .) - Ss’s structure: you can use the sentence pattern “ What pets do you have? , Where are your pets?.” exactly B.
