  1. Week 23 UNIT 13: WHERE’S MY BOOK? Lesson 2: Part 1,2,3 I. Objectives By the end of this unit, Ss will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about about house facilities. - Ask and answer about about house facilities. Is there a ?-Yes, there is./ No, there isn’t - Express their concern about their house facilities. II. Teaching aids: E-board, computer, CD tracks III. Procedure A.Warm up: Sing a song B. New lesson: Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat Step1: Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? Step 2: Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson. Step 3: Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Formative asserments methods and techniques - Students repeat the sentences after the tape exactly. Practice speaking with the partner and role play to practice the dialogue. - Oral (Oral comments and Q-A) Activity 2: Point and say Step 1: Aims of this activity - Ask and answer about house facilities. Listen and number * Pre- listening: - Ask students to look at the pictures and then identify the content of pictures in their book. - Call some students to guess before they listen
  3. * While- listening: - Play the tape twice - Students listen and tick into a correct picture - Call some students read their answer. T corrects * Post- listening: - Teacher plays the tape again and asks each student to repeat. New lesson: I. Presentation: Activity 1: Listen and repeat Discover the sounds: - Which sounds are they?
  5. - Read aloud them? Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Practise pronouncing. Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. II. Practice: Activity 2: Listen and write. T plays the recording and Ss listen to do the task * Observation: Focus on spelling Share answers T observes Listen again to check the answer and give feedback. III. Production: Activity 3: Let’s chant. Introduce about the chant, have Ss listen the whole chant - Read the lyrics of the chant Listen and repeat each sentences in chorus and in groups Sing the whole song and do the actions. * Oral comment: (lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation)       C. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A. Warm up: - chant and clap their hands. T observes, focus on lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation Oral comments. - Chant correctly rhythm and beautifully. B. New lesson: Activity 4. Read and tick. - T runs through the sentences. - Ask Ss to read the sentences aloud to the class. The others listen and give comments. - Read silently and complete to tick - Ss check Oral comment: - St’s can complete correctly . - St read correctly the conversation Activity 5. Read and complete - Have a revision of the language. Get Ss to look the pictures and sentences. Then complete the sentences - Report your answers. Others listen and comment. Observation: Take-note. - St’s fill correct words in the box to the blank . B. Practical activities Activity 6. Project
