  1. Lesson plan 3 School year: 2020-2021 Teaching 15/9 15/9 16/9 14/9 15/9 date: Class 3A 3B 3C 3D 3E UNIT 1: HELLO Lesson 1. Section 1, 2, 3 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about greeting and self- introduction. - Greeting and and self- introduction. - Express students’ concern about their greeting and self- introduction. II. Teaching aids: Text book, Picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up - Sing the song If you are happy and you know. T Gives feedback (pronunciation, performance and voice) Q-A: Are you happy? What is clap? Ask Ss to answer the questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Who are they? - Where are they? - What are they doing? Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson. Listen and repeat - T plays the recording, Ss listen and repeat line by line once or twice. - Have Ss repeat the whole dialogue in chorus or in group. Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about greeting and self- introduction. - Pactise Listening, Reading and writing the greeting and self- introduction. - Express their concern about greeting and self- introduction. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures Warm up: Call some pairs to greet and introduction in front of the class. Assessement: ( praise and share) Activity 4. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Have pupils repeat them once and twice - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe the ways students do the task. - Give oral comments . Activity 6 Let’s sing: - Give students a few seconds to look at the pictures and read the text in silence. -Have choral and individual repetition of each line of the lyrics. When pupils are familiar with the tune, give a demonstration of the song and actions. - Get groups of pupils to sit face to face and practise singing and doingthe actions. - Call a group of six to the front of the class. The group sings the first two lines in every stanza and the rest of the class sings the last Check list: - Pronunciation - rhythm - Performance. New lesson Activity 1:Listen and number Listen to the request of the task and identify the characters in these pictures Listen to the tape carefully 1st:Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen while they are looking the pictures in their books 2nd: play the recording for Ss to listen and tick the correct pictures. Choose one or two Ss to share their answers with their classmates. 3rd: play the recording for Ss to check their answers. Others listen and comment. Check lists: (Key words) Activity 3:Let’s write Identify the characters in the pictures and what they are writing. Read and get information to write complete the dialogue Trade their answers within pairs or groups to compare together Feedback the answer with the partner (close pairs / open pairs) One student reads the answers aloud to the groups. The others listen and give comments. Trade the answer for correction Check lists: (Key words) -You observe how to students work - Give written comments (focus on the word-spelling).
