Objectives: By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to: - Understand the vocabulary about the seasons and weather. - Ask and answer questions about the seasons, using What's like in your country?It's usully There is /are - Tell about the seasons. - Express their concern about the seasons and weather. II. Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book, activboard. - Students: Student’s book, notebook, pen, ruler III. Procedures: *Warm – up: - Sing the song “ What’s the weather like?” Activity 1. 1. Look, listen and repeat - Discover the pictures: - How many people are there in the picture? Who are they? - Listen and repeat. - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. - Practise reading dialogue. - Focus on the structure, lead in the new sentences. - What’s like in your country? - It’s usually . There is/ are Assessment: - Read dialogue fluently. - Give the model sentences correctly. Activity 2: 2. Point and say - Focus on the structure, pre-teach vocabulary: summer, spring, autumn, winter, wind, rain, snow, -Modeling.

II. Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book, activboard. - Students: Student’s book, notebook, pen, ruler III. Procedures * Warm up: Watching the Video Activity1: 4. Listen and write one word in each blank. - Run through all the sentences. - Listen and write one word in each blank. - T plays the recording twice. - Have Ss listen and complete the task. - Ss share the answers with their groups. - Ss give the answers. - Listen again and check

Let's sing.The weather song - Discover the picture. - Run through the song then open the tape twice. - Guide Ss how to sing the song sentence by sentence. - Ss follow T’s instruction. - The whole class practice. - Practice singing a song one by one. - Some groups act out. Procedure * Warm up: Chatting Assessement:Q – A: ( exactly, fluently) - Gives oral comments + What is the weather like today? + What will the weather be like tomorrow? +How many seasons are there in your country? Activity 1: 1. Listen and repeat - Teacher introduces the four letters - Open the tape twice - Listen and repeat one by one with the sounds, letters and sentences. - Practice - Find some question and answer with the correct intonation. * * Assessement:- voice, pronunciation, intonation. - Find words exactly. Activity 2: 2. Listen and circle a or b .
