  1. LESSON PLAN 5 WEEK 6 Preparing day: September, 24th, 2017 Teaching day: Tuesday afternoon, September, 26th, 2017 Class: 53,52,51 UNIT 4: DID YOU GO TO THE PARTY? Lesson 2 : Part 1,2,3 A/ Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about what someone did something Sentence patterns: - What did you do .? - We ate a lot of food. - We played football. Vocabulary: chat, catoon, happily, past simple of irregular verbs: did, had, ate, went, sang. B. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, puppets. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. C. Procedures: I. Warm up: Sing - Gets students to join into the activity. - T asks Ss to sing a song: “ What did you do on Teachers’ Day?.” - Then T plays the tape and asks Ss to sing - Introduces the new lesson. II. Presentation: 1. Look, listen and repeat. - Teaches vocabulary. + chat: + cartoon : + happily : - T asks Ss look at the pictures and answer the Q. - T read model.Then T calls Ss to repeat. *Checking new words: What and where. - The T asks students to look at the picture - Plays the tape and asks students repeat - Teaches sentence patterns A: What did you do there ? Procedure Warm up: Sing the song: What did you do on teachers’Day? A. Basic activities 1. Listen and repeat - Teacher introduces the four letters - Teacher play the tape, students listen - Ask students repeat the words - Calls some sts to read. Correct their mistakes 2. Make the word stress. Then say the word aloud. - T runs through the word from 1 to 12 - Play the tape twice and students listen carefully - Ask Ss to make the word stress - Call some students to read and show their answers - Correct B. Practical activities 3. Let’s chant - Teacher introduces the chant - Play the tape. Read and answer - Ask Ss to identify the characters in the picture. - Have a revision of the language: “When was Nam’s birthday party?” - Ask Ss to read the questions and answer - Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary - Have Ss trade the answers in pairs for correction - Call on some Ss to report their answers.
