Lesson 2 ( part 1-2-3) I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify someone’s age - Ask and answer question about someone’s age using: How old are you?- I’m + (age) - Express Sts’ concern about someone’s age . V/ Procedures: A. WARM-UP: Matching one to ten. QA: Sts’ vocabualaries about number from 1 to 10 - Oral comments - Praise and share B. NEW LESSON: 1. Lesson2 ( part 4-5-6) I.Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss can: - revise model about someone’s age. - Practice listening and reading skills by using the question : How old are you?- I’m + (age) - Express their concern about someone’s age. II.Teaching aids: - Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD. III.Procedure: WARM-UP: Match the sentences: 1. Who’s that? a. Yes, it is. 2. How old are you? b. It’s Mr Loc. 3. Is that Mai c. She’s eight years old. 4. How old is Mai? d. I’m eight years old. *Oral: IV. NEW LESSON: 4. Listen and write. Discover the picture *Q-A: How many .? Read and tick: -T Have Ss read the sentences from 1 to 4 and look at four Pictures on Page 27 and identify How old the characters are in these pictures - Choose one or two Ss to share their answers with their classmates. - Have Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction. - T Select a few pairs to perform the task in front of the class. Oral - Praise and share 6. Let’s sing: - Ask st to open book on Page 27 and Teacher write song or Stick the large-sized sheet of paper with the song “Let’s count from one to ten”. - T Divide the class into two groups to take turns to say and clap the song. - Ask ss to sing the song in group. _ Call on a few groups to perform the task in front of the class. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify two sounds: /i/ /o/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds. - Express students’ concern about colour of things (express Ss’ love about color by chanting How old are you?) II. Teaching aids student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording III. Procedure: Warm-up: Game:Slap the board Oral IV. NEW LESSON: 1.
