Objectives: By the end of this unit, Ss will be able to: - Revise how to ask and answer about someone. - Listen to tick the correct boxes. Write about someone - Express their concern about others. II. Teaching aids: pictures, laptop, and speakers. III. Procedure: A. Warm-up: Game: Role-play B. New lesson: Activity 4. Listen and tick Step1: Discover the picture - Who is this? Lesson2 ( part 4-5-6) I.Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss can: - revise model about someone’s age. - Practice listening and reading skills by using the question : How old are you?- I’m + (age) - Express their concern about someone’s age. II.Teaching aids: - Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD. III.Procedure: WARM-UP: Match the sentences: 1. Who’s that? a. Yes, it is. 2. How old are you? b. It’s Mr Loc. 3. Is that Mai c. She’s eight years old. 4. How old is Mai? d. I’m eight years old. *Oral: IV. NEW LESSON: 4. Listen and write. Discover the picture *Q-A: How many .? Read and tick: -T Have Ss read the sentences from 1 to 4 and look at four Pictures on Page 27 and identify How old the characters are in these pictures - Choose one or two Ss to share their answers with their classmates. - Have Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction. - T Select a few pairs to perform the task in front of the class. Oral - Praise and share 6. Let’s sing: - Ask st to open book on Page 27 and Teacher write song or Stick the large-sized sheet of paper with the song “Let’s count from one to ten”. - T Divide the class into two groups to take turns to say and clap the song. - Ask ss to sing the song in group. _ Call on a few groups to perform the task in front of the class. II. Teaching aids student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording III. Procedure: Warm-up: Game:Slap the board Oral IV. NEW LESSON: 1.
