OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Understand and correctly repeat the sentences in simple communicative contexts in relation to the topic “my foreign friends” in which ss ask and answer questions about someone’s nationality - Correctly say the words and use What nationality is he / she? - He’s / She’s ... to ask and answer questions about someone’s nationality; - Enhance the correct use of What nationality is he / she? - He’s / She’s ... to ask and answer questions about someone’s nationality in a freer context. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: nationality, Australian, Malaysian, American, Japanese - Sentence patterns: What nationality is he / she? - He’s / She’s ... 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to show their pride in where they come from and great respect for where someone comes from by asking and answering about nationality.
