OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: + Remember and say some new words: names of characters of English book grade 5 + Know the syllabus and books of grade English 5. +Know the materials for English book grade 5. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: names of characters of English book grade 5 - The syllabus and books of grade English 5 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. -Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students; know about the syllabus and books of grade English 5; love to learn English. 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: -Comunicative and collaborative competence: work in pairs/groups, role play: work in pairs/groups, role play: work in pairs/groups, role play -Problem-solving competence: observing, collecting and analyzing information -Self studying and self - control competence: remembering, recalling and guessing words/phrases -Creative competence, linguistic competence: giving ideas, changing information, giving comments, critical thinking. School year: 2024-2025 TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ACTIVITIES Activity 1:Warm – up: sing the song: Hello (5’) *Aim:help ss to be eager and happy to begin the new lesson. *Teaching techniques: -Technique in singing the song. *Procedure: -T play the recording of the song: Hello, and ask -Ss listen to the song and then listen ss to sing the song. again and sing along. - T links to the new lesson. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. - Show pride in the time back to school and their love and interest in learning and playing. Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks Diligence: complete learning tasks 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: -Decision making, teamwork, problem-solving, integrity, communication, planning and organization. -Self-control & independent learning: Perform listening tasks -Sociability: Talk to each other, say good words to others. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. English grade 5 9

Invite one student to the front to share their instructions. While giving each instruction, the student also acts out. The action may be the same or different from the instruction. The rest of the Ss listen and follow the given instructions. - Any Ss who cannot follow the instruction correctly will be out of the game. The team with more remaining players gets a star.
