  1. WEEK 1 ( From 26/ 8 to 30/ 8/ 2019) Date of teaching: August 26th, 2019 (3A,3B) INTRODUCE CLASSROOM’S RULES I. Objectives By the end of this lesson, students will be able to know the classroom’s rules. Develop writing, reading and speaking skill. II. Languages focus: Vocabulary: book, workbook, notebook, pen, pencil, ruler, eraser. Sentence patterns: May I go out? May I come in? May I drink? Work in groups/Work in pairs/Work individually. Write down on notebook. Take out the book/Put the book away Give feedback/comment/discuss Look at the board./Listen to me / Listen to the tape (CD) III. Teaching aids: Audio, stickers, puppets, flashcards IV. Procedures - Greeting. - Ask Ss to sing a song. - Introduce the learning tools that Ss have to have: books, workbooks, notebooks pens, pencils, rulers, erasers. - Guide the Ss somethings about the way to use books and workbooks as well as the way to write in the notebooks. - Introduce some classroom’s rules - May I drink? - May I come in? - May I go out? - Work in groups/Work in pairs/Work individually. - Write down on notebook. - Take out the book/Put the book - Give feedback/comment/discuss - Look at the board. - Listen to me / Listen to the tape (CD) - Teach the new words - Introduce how to read these words - Read after teacher three times (choral / individually) 1

Languages focus: Vocabulary: hi, hello, goodbye Sentence patterns: Hello, I’m Mai. Hi, Mai III. Teaching aids: Audio, stickers, puppets, flashcards IV. Procedures Warm up -Greet the ss in Vietnamese. - Introduce Name and new subject. 1. Look, listen and repeat -Look at book and listen the dialogue carefully - Underline the new words and the structure in the book - Elicit the word: Hi / hello; I’m = I am: and compare with the partner to feedback 2

Procedures Warm up -Introduce Name 1. Listen and tick -Listen to the request of the task and identify the characters in these pictures . - Listen to the tape carefully. - 1st:Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen while they are looking the pictures in their books. - 2nd: play the recording for Ss to listen and tick the correct pictures. - Choose one or two Ss to share their answers with their classmates. - 3rd: play the recording for Ss to check their answers. -Listen to the tape again and compare with the partners (close pairs / open pairs) - Trade the answer together. - Feedback for correction. -Trade the answer on the board. 4

Let’s write -Identify the characters in the pictures and what they are writing. - Read and get information to write complete the dialogue -Trade their answers within pairs or groups to compare together (close pairs / open pairs) - Feedback the answer with the partner -One student reads the answers aloud to the groups. The others listen and give comments. - Trade the answer for correction. T’assessment: Go around and Observe if the students can colour exactly. 3. Let’s sing -Read the lyrics first. - Listen to the tape and read the each sentence. - Play the second time and sing the song. - Listen to the song again to sing the song by heart. - Sing the song with the partners. - Perform the song in front of class. ___ Date of teaching: August 30th, 2019 (3A,3B) UNIT 1: HELLO Lesson 2(1,2,3) I. Objectives By the end of this lesson, students will be able to listen to the dialogue and tick on the pictures about greeting “Hello/ Hi” and self – introducing. Develop listening and speaking skills. II. Languages focus: Vocabulary: hi, hello, goodbye Sentence patterns: Hello, I’m Mai. Hi, Mai III. Teaching aids: Audio, stickers, puppets, flashcards IV.
