Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Revise the words about animal in the zoo through listening, writing. - Use the information to write about your visit to the zoo. - Play the game: Charades II. Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book, activeboard. - Students: Student’s book, notebook, pen, ruler III. Procedures * Warm up: - Chatting Assessment: Q –A : + When were you at the zoo.? + What did you see there? + What did the animals do there? Activity 1: 4. Listen and circle a or b. - Run through the questions and guess the answers.: Listen and circle - Play the recording twice. - Have Ss listen and do the task. - Ss share the answers with their groups. - Ss give the answers. - Listen again and check Key: 1 a 2 b 3 b Assessment: observing ( circle the correct answers.) Activity 2: 5. Write about your visit to the zoo - Run through the questions.

  3. WEEK 16 Period 62 Date of teaching : UNIT 9: WHAT DID YOU SEE AT THE ZOO? Lesson 3.P1. 2. 3 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to : - Say questions and answer with the correct sentence stress. - Develop listening skill by listening and underline the stress words - Chant “ At the circus ” well. - Express their concern about animals. II. Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book,radio - Students: Student’s book, notebook, III. Procedure * Warm up: Dictation Assessement: Ss write: ( exactly, beautifully) - Gives oral comments I went to the zoo last weekend. I saw some cute pandas, They moved around quietly and ate food slowly. Activity 1: 1. Listen and repeat - Teacher introduces the four sentences - Open the tape twice - Listen and repeat one by one with the sounds, letters and sentences. - Practice - Find some words (has sentence stress) * * Assessement:- voice, pronunciation, intonation.
  4. - Find words exactly. Activity 2: 2. Listen and underline the stress words. Then say the sentences aloud. - Practise saying the stress words in each sentence and paying attention to the sentence stress. - Ss look at the book . - Listen and repeat line by line until Ss feel confident. - Share ideas and feedback. - Practice saying aloud. Let's chant : At the circus - Read and guide ss to read the chant - Open the recording. - Guide ss to chant line by line. - Guide ss to chant ( individual,pairs, group) - Call some groups or ss to chant in front of the class. * Assessement: Ss’ structure: Can answer the question What did you do yesterday and what dis you see ? Lesson 3.P 4, 5, 6 I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss wil be able to: - Develop reading and writing skills by + Read the match about Phong’s letter . + Write about your last visit to the zoo . - Draw your dream zoo. - Express their concern about dream zoo. II. Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book, radio - Students: Student’s book, notebook, III. Procedures * Warm up: Chant: “At the circus” Assessement: - Ss’s vocab: Chant the sentences with the right intonation combine with their actions. - Ss’s chant: you chant beautifully/ well/ wonderfully Activity 1: 4. Read and match. - Guide Ss how to do the task. - Read the text ansd match the sentences with first, then,next,and in the end - Give pupils sufficient time to do the task. - Read the Phong’ letter and check pupils’ comprehension

Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify the vocabularies about school events and future activities. - Ask and answer about school events using: When will .be ?It’ll be on - Develop Ss’ speaking and listening skills. - Express their concern about school events . II. Teaching aids: - Teacher: Teacher’s book, student’s book, activeboard. - Students: Student’s book, notebook, pen, pencil, ruler, III. Procedure: * Warm-up: - Chant; At the circus - SS’assessment : Ss’s chant: you chant beautifully/ well/ wonderfully Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat - Discover the picture: - Ask them questions Who are the pupils? Where are they? What are they talking about ? - Check their comprehension - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice.
