Goal: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to : - Listen and repeat the sentences “Hi, I’m Bill.” and “ Bye, Bill”. - Greet and introduce their names, using “Hi, I’m _” and to say goodbye to each other, using “ Bye,__”. - Sing a song with the structures “Hi, I’m__.” and “Hi,_. I’m _.” II. Input: Laptop, loud speaker. III. Procedure: 1.Warm up: Sing a song. 2. New lesson: Activity 6: Listen and repeat Have Ss look at the picture and describe it. Play the recording for Ss to listen and repeat. Have Ss look at the sentence “Hi, I’m Bill. Explaining the meaning of sentence and how it is used. Check comprehension. Play the recording several times for Ss to listen and repeat the sentence. Give more support to those Ss who find it difficult to do the task. Invite a few Ss to listen and repeat the sentence “ Hi, I’m Bill.” in front of the class. Correct pronunciation,if necessary or praise them if they pronounced the sentence correctly. -Follow the same procedure with the second picture. Then help them to sing the whole song. Let them sing the song several times or ask some ss to sing the song individually, if there is time. IV.
