- Week 24 UNIT 14: ARE THERE ANY POSTERS IN THE ROOM? Lesson 2( Part 4+ 5 +6 ) I.Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss can: - Revise about quantity of things. - Practice listening and reading skills by using the question : “ How many are there? There are ” - Express their concern about quantity of things. II.Teaching aids: - Teacher’s book, student’s book, pictures, CD player, CD III.Procedure: A. Warm up: (3ms) - T hold a game about quantity of thing with things in the room. *Oral: B. New lesson: Activity 1: Listen and number. (7ms) Discover the picture *Q-A: How many are there ? T plays the recording and Ss listen once or twice. call some ss share answers and give feedback. Key: Q.A ( focus on questions : How many are there ?) Activity 2: Read and write (12ms) T ask ss identify the task . ss read the sentences and do the task. Some ss read the answers aloud , give comments and correct. * Written Comments

Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify two sounds: /a/ /u/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds. - Practice reading and writing about quantity of things. - Complete the table about quantity of things. - Express their concern about quantity of things. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm-up: Game:Slap the board ( fan, cupboard, mirror, wardrobe, door, picture) * Q&A Where is the ? How many are there ? B. New lesson: I. Presentation: Activity 1: Listen , repeat and write
- - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Practise pronouncing. - T plays the recording and Ss listen to do the task * Take note: Which student can’t pronounce correctly and help them to correct their mistake. Listen again to check the answer and give feedback. II. Practice: Activity 2. Read and circle. - Read the sentences and circle the correct answers. - Share their answers. - T calls some pupils to read their answers aloud and gives comments. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the vocabulary about toys. - Ask and answer questions about toys using” Do you have ? Yes, I do/ No, I don’t” - Express students’ concern about their toys by using question “Do you have ? Yes, I do/ No, I don’t” II. Teaching aids: Text book, Picture, cassette, workbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up - Play game: Slap the board . T Gives feedback Praise Ask Ss to eliciting questions to elicit the new lessons. B. New lesson Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat Discover the picture: - How many people are there in the picture? - Where are they? - Who are they? - What is it? Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new lesson. Listen and number - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures. Have pupils repeat them once and twice - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, do the task and check their answers - Get pupils to swap and check their answers before checking as a class Key: 1-c, 2- d, 3- a, 4-b *T’assessment: ( quick notes) -You observe the ways students do the task. - Give oral comments (distinguish the words “a ball, a car, a robot, a doll Activity 5.
