1. Week 20 Date of teaching: UNIT 11: THIS IS MY FAMILY Lesson 3: Part 1,2,3 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify two sounds: /br/ /gr/ - Listen and write the words including the sounds. - Express students’ concern about family. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedure: A. Warm-up: Q&A What is your name? How old is your ? B. New lesson: I. Presentation: Activity 1: Listen and repeat Discover the sounds: - Which sounds are they? - Read aloud them? Listen and repeat - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. Practise pronouncing.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Ss revise the vocabulary and model sentence about family members. - Read, write and draw about family members. - Express concern about family members. II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, recording 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
3. III. Procedures A. Warm up: - chant and clap their hands. T observes, focus on lyrics, rhythm and pronunciation Oral comments. - Chant correctly rhythm and beautifully. B. New lesson: Activity 4. Read and complete. - T runs through the sentences. - Ask Ss to read the sentences aloud to the class. Objectives: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to: - Revise vocabulary about room in the house - Practise Listening, Reading and writing rooms in the house - Express their concern about the rooms in the house II. Teaching aids 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, computer 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures A.Warm up: Game: Slap the board Assessement: ( praise and share) B. New lesson: Activity 4. Listen and tick - Show pupils how to carry out the task and tick the box. Elicit the pictures.
