Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Practise asking and answering questions about places to visit - Read and listen the passage about places to visit - Express their concern about places to visit II. Language content 1. Vocabulary: review 2. Sentence pattern: review 3. Skill: reading, listening, reading and writing skills III. Teaching aids: teacher’s and students’ book, projector, cassette, CD IV. Procedure Warm up: Sing a song 4. Listen and number. - Teacher asks students to open the book , and then tell the greeting words in each picture. Explain the task - Teacher asks students to guess before they listen - Teacher plays the tape and students listen, write the numbers into the box - Call some students say their answer. T corrects Oral: gives comments 5. Read and match - Ask Ss to look at the words in the box on textbook - Ask Ss to read the sentences and match the questions and the answers. - Give Ss 6 minutes to do the task - Let Ss work in pairs and trade their answers. - Calls on some Ss writing their answers on the board. - Give feedback. written- write comment: spelling and structure. 6. Let’s sing - Introduce the song. + 1st: students listen + 2nd: stop each sentence in the song and asks sing along + 3rd: students sing in chorus - Divide class into three groups and song. Listen and repeat - Teacher introduces the two letters - Teacher plays the tape, students listen - Ask students repeat the words - Calls some SS to read. Correct their mistakes Oral: Give comments.(T and ss): pronunciation, and stress of the words. 2. Listen and write - Have Ss look at the table. - Ask Ss to listen the tape carefully then write the word they can hear - Play the tape 3 times, ask Ss to work in pairs in 4 mins to write - Call 2 Ss to write their words on the board. - Check and correct mistakes - Ask Ss to read aloud 2 sentences Oral: T and Ss( give feedback) 3. Look, listen and repeat - Ask students to look at the picture in the book and ask: Who are they in the picture? (8ms) - Have Ss look at part 2 on page 39. - Explain the way to do the task. - Let Ss work individually to do the task. - Call on some Ss to give their answers. - Check the answers with the whole class and give feedback.
