- WEEK 3 Teaching date:Tuesday,September 11th 2018 Class: 53, 52, 51 UNIT 1: WHAT’S YOUR ADDRESS? LESSON 3: 1, 2, 3 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - identify pronounce two sounds - nouns with the stress on the first sound in the words: city, village, mountains, tower. - pronounce two sounds - nouns with the stress on the first sound in the words: city, village, mountains, tower correctly. - express their concern about how someone’s hometown like through chanting: Where do you live? II. Teaching aids and materials: CD, speakers, recordings, flashcards, pictures III. Procedure: Warm up(5’): Slap the board - Introduce how to play the game. - Play in 2 groups. Observation and give feedback(T and ss): speed, accuracy. - Repeat the words. B. New lesson Act. 1. Listen and repeat (7’) Aims of this act: Ss can identify how to pronounce 2 syllable nouns. Focus on the red marks on the words to pronounce correctly. - Look at the words with stress sign. - Listen to the CD and repeat. - Some Ss to read aloud the words and sentences. Oral: Give comments.(T and ss): pronunciation, and stress of the words. Act. 2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud. (10’) - Give instruction. Q-A: ask some questions to check understanding about the task. - Listen and circle. - Give the answers, check
- Oral: T and Ss( give feedback) Key: 1-b, 2-a, 3-a. - Read out the sentences in group. Act. 3: Let’s chant. (8’) - Introduce the chant. - Read aloud sentence by sentence. - Listen and chant one by one, whole. - Practice in group, chant in front of the class. Oral (T and Ss) checklist: lyrics, rythm, clapping and performance. 3. homelink: 5’ - Practice the chant at home and introduce to your family. Teaching date: Wednesday,September 12th 2018 Class: 53, 52, 51 UNIT 1: WHAT’S YOUR ADDRESS? Lesson 3: 4, 5, 6, 7 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - idenfity some new words about place of living: modern, view, place, centre. - read and understand texts about addresses and hometown - Write about Ss’ friends address and hometown - express their love for their home through painting and talking about their home. II. Teaching aids and materials: flashcards, pictures III. Procedure: Warm up (5’): Slap the board - Listen to how to play the game. - Play in 2 groups. Oral( T and Ss) - give feedback and praise: speed, accuracy, cooperation. - Repeat the words. 2. New lesson Act. 1. Read and tick Yes (Y) or No (N) (7’) Aims of this act: Ss can read and skip the information about the character’s address to tick Y or N.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - identify vocabularies about daily routines: always, usually, often, regularly: sometimes, rarely, never, brush my teeth, do morning exercise, wash my face - ask and answer about daily routines using Sentence patterns: What do you do in the morning? I always brush my teeth. - express their concern about their friend’s daily routines by asking and answering What do you do in the morning?- I always brush my teeth. II. Teaching aids and materials: recordings, flashcards, pictures III. Procedure: A. Warm up (5’): - Ask some Ss to sing the song The wheels on the bus. Oral: Give comments. B. New lesson 1. Presentation Act. 1. Look, listen and repeat (10’) - Set the scene of the dialogue. Q-A: check understanding about the context. - Listen and repeat the dialogue. - Work in pair to role play and read the dialogue. 2. Practice Act. 2. Point and say( 10’) Aims: Ss can ask and answer about their daily activities. - Get the context of the pictures. Q-A: check understanding about the task. - Repeat the questions and answers. - Teach the vocabulary - check vocab: R-O-R

Teaching date: Friday, September 14h 20 Class: 53, 52, 51 UNIT 2: I ALWAYS GET UP EARLY. HOW ABOUT YOU? Lesson 1: 4, 5, 6 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - listen and understand text about daily routines. - read andunderstand text about daily routines. - ask and answer about daily activities - express their love of doing daily activity through singing the song: this is the way we do things II. Teaching aids and materials: CD, speakers, recordings, flashcards, pictures III. Procedure: Warm up (5’): miming - Give instruction.
- - Divide class into 2groups. - Some Ss of each group to do the action of some daily activities and the other group will guess. Oral: Give feedback. The group with more correct answers will be winner. B. New lesson Act. 1. Listen and tick (10’) - Set the scene and give instruction. Q-A: check understanding abot the task. - Listen to the CD and tick. - Trade the answers with partner. - Report their answer to the class. - Listen and check their answer.
