  1. WEEK 15 Date of teaching: Tuesday,November, 27th2018 Class: 53, 52, 51 UNIT 8: WHAT ARE YOU READING? Lesson 3: 4, 5, 6, 7 I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Idenfity some new words : Case Closed, police, brave, detective , - Read and understand texts about Tom, write about their favourite books. - Have a good attitude about learning and love English more. - Express their concern about their classmate’s favourite book. II. Teaching aids: Teacher :Projector, speaker , posters, pictures Students: Textbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up (5’): Slap the board - Ask some Ss to chant What are you reading? Oral: gives comments: lyrics, rhythm and performance. - Whole class chants 2. New lesson Act. 4. Read and answer (7’) - Give instruction. - Read and do the task. - Trade the answers with a partner. - Give the answers. Observation ( quick note)and Oral task (oral comment): pronunciation ,structures, stress Act. 5: Write about your favourite book - Give instruction. Write about your favourite book Observation and written (using information given) Vocabulary, structure, spelling
  2. - Share ideas Act. 5: Project - Introduce the task: Interview three of your classmates about their favourite books and characters - Do the task. - Invite a few groups to present in front of the class and give feedback. Objectives :By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the names of animals - Practice conversation about what animals - Have a good attitude about animals - Express Ss care toward about animals II. Teaching aids: Teacher :Projector , speaker, puppets, pictures Students: Textbook III. Procedures
  3. *Warm up: -Sing a song Activity 1: 1. Look, listen and repeat - Discover the picture: + Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? - T plays the recording and Ss listen and repeat once or twice. - Have Ss repeat in chorus or in pairs if necessary. - Pair work. - Share ideas - Focus on the structure, lead in the new model sentence: What did you see ?I saw Oral task(oral comment ,Q-A, Peer assessment) prounciation, stress, intovation,interaction Activity 2: 2. Point and say - Focus on the structure, pre-teach vocabulary: - Modeling - Practice asking and answering: Use textbook. Listen and tick - Read and discover the task - Listen and tick. - Share ideas. - Some Ss report their answers. Let’s sing: - Run through the song. - practice the song Oral task (peer assessment, praise and share) observation (check list): lyrics, rhythm, attitude and voice, performance when sing C. Homelink.: - Make new song by changing the lyrics.

Objectives:By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Identify the new words about animals - Ask and answer about what someone is like using the sentence patterns What did the - They . - Express their concern about animals doing something II. Teaching aids: Teacher :Projector , speaker, flash cards, pictures Students: Textbook III. Procedure: A. Warm up (5’): - sing the song Oral task (oral comments): stress, intonation, body language, structure when sing B. New lesson 1. Presentation Act. 1. Look, Listen and repeat (10’) - discover the picture by asking some questions about the pictures. - T plays the CD and Ss listen once or twice. - Listen and repeat few times whole class, in pairs. - Ss play the roles of the characters. Observation( quick notes): vocabulary, pronunciation, stress of words in the dialoge 2. Practice: Act. 2. Point and say( 10’) - Get the context. - Look and repeat the question and answer on the board. - Learn vocabulary. Game: Slap the board.
