Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about the importance of learning English Sentence patterns: review Vocabulary: review B. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. C. Procedures: I. Warm up. Bingo - Play the game Bingo - Using words from last lesson II.Practice. 4. Listen and number. - T asks Ss to look at the pictures. - T asks Ss to guess. -T calls 2 groups answer. - Plays the tape for students to listen and tick. - Asks students to correct their answers in partners - Provides the answers and explanations Answers: 5. Write about you -T asks Ss to read the questions. - Then , T check Ss to understand the questions -T asks Ss to do in their notebook - Asks students to work in pairs to check about their answer - Calls some students to do the task in front of the class. 6. Preparing day: November, 5th, 2017 Teaching day: Wednesday morning, November, 8th, 2017 Class: 53,52,51 UNIT 7: HOW DO YOU LEARN ENGLISH? Lesson 3: Part 1, 2, 3 I. Aim: By the end of the lesson, Ss will can use the words and phrases related to this lesson; ask and answer questions about the importance of English; and Ss can pronounce frequency with the stresses into the sentence. II. Language content 1. Vocabulary: none 2. Sentence pattern: none 3. Skill: speaking, writing and listening skills. III. Resources and teaching aids: Teacher: teacher’s book, cassette, tape, board Students: students’ book IV. Techniques: guessing, sing V. Procedure Warm up: Sing the song A. Basic activities 1. Listen and repeat - Teacher introduces the four sentences - Teacher play the tape, students listen - Ask students repeat the sentences - Calls some sts to read. Correct their mistakes 2. Others listen and comment. 5. Write about how your friend learn English. - Tell Ps that they are going to write about how your friend learn English. - Have them work individual. - Give Ps time to do the task. - Get them to swap their answer before checking as a class. B. Practical activities 6. Project - Ask Ss to discuss in groups how you practice listening, speaking, reading and writing. - Tell Ss to give a presentation of their work in front of the class. C. Lesson 1 :Part 1,2,3 A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer questions about what story/ book someone is reading. Sentence patterns: - What are you reading? I’m reading Vocabulary: names of books/ stories B. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette, puppets. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. C. Procedures: I. Warm up. - Greeting II. Presentation: 1. Look, listen and repeat. - The T asks students to look at the picture - T elicits the context. Who are they? Where are they?
