  1. Week 10 Period 10 Tuesday, November 12th 2024 Unit 4: In the bedroom Lesson 1 A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - pronounce the sound of the letter D/d in isolation and in the words desk, dog, door, duck correctly - Sound /D/d/ - Vocabulary: desk, dog, door, duck - Skills: speaking and listening. 2. Competences: - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. - Know how to practise some sounds. 3. Attitude/ Qualities: Stages/Time Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1.Warm- up: Play game: Pelmanism (5’) *Aims: to create a friendly and active atmosphere in the class to beginning the lesson. *Procedure: -Ss greet and say - Greet the class, saying Hi, class. Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by - Ss listen and play the game -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English B. METHODS: - Work in pairs, work in groups, ask and answer. - Communicative approach, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practicing, prediction. C. TEACHING AIDS: - Teacher: Posters, laptop, pictures, textbook, lesson plan, TV or projector. - Students: Textbooks, notebooks, workbooks, school things. D. PROCEDURES:
  2. asking the class to sing the song in Unit 3, Lesson 3, Activity 8 and clap their hands - Ss open their book. - If there is enough time, let them play the game Pelmanism, using the words they have learnt in Unit 3 - Have pupils open their books and look at Unit 4, Lesson 1 2. Presentation Activity 1. 1. Listen and repeat: (12’) *Aims: Ss will be able to -Look at the picture and listen. pronounce the sound of the letter C/c in isolation and in the words cake, car, cat and cup correctly *Procedure: - Have pupils look at the picture.
