  8. • We use -ED adjectives to describe someone’s feelings. Passive Example: subject The film was long, and I was boreded. (I was affected by the long and boring film. I felt bored of it) • We use –ING adjectives to describe things or people (that cause the feelings). Active Example: subject The film was long, and boring. (The film had an effect on our feeling which made us feel bored )
  9. More examples: The news was shocking. She was very shocked when she read the news. Working hard all day is tiring. She felt tired after working hard all day. I am frightened of spiders. Those spiders look frightening.
