Giáo án chuyên đề “Bồi dưỡng thi GVG cấp Huyện” – Môn tiếng Anh – lớp 7C Week 17 (September 16th2019) Period 21: UNIT 3 – COMMUNITY SERVICE Lesson 2: A CLOSER LOOK 1 (p 28, 29) I/ Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to: - use the lexical items related to community service and volunteer work for the people in need and the solutions for the problems of community. - pronounce correctly the sounds /g/ and /k/ in isolation and in context - use adjectives with particular nouns - take part in volunteer work and they should be responsible for the community II/ Teaching aids T’s note, projector, pictures, CD disk and a cassette player III/ Anticipated problems Ss may have difficulty in pronouncing correctly the sounds /g/ and /k/ * Solution: T can help ss practice more about those sounds. IV/ Procedures: TIME TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES 6 mins 1/ WARM UP: Kim’s game Work individually Play in 4 teams - Have ss look at the pictures in 1’, then take the pictures away - Ask ss to try to remember and write into their notebooks first, then they play in 4 teams to write on the posters - Check with the class to find out the winner Giáo viên: Trần Thị Thúy Hà
