Dấu hiệu nhận biết: + last (last week, last year, last Sunday, ): vừa rồi, trước + ago (2 days ago, 3 months ago, ): cách đây + yesterday: ngày hôm qua + in 2000, .: vào năm 2000 II. CÔNG THỨC: 1. THE VERB “TO BE” 1. 2. (+): S + was / were 3. (-) : S + was / were + NOT 4. (?) : Was / Were + S + ? 5. - Yes, S was/ were. 6. - No, S wasn’t / weren’t. 7. Lưu ý: - was dùng cho các ngôi số ít (I, She, He, It), các danh từ số ít và tên riêng của 1 người hoặc 1 vật - were dùng cho các ngôi số nhiều (You, We, They), các danh từ số nhiều và tên riêng của nhiều người hoặc nhiều vật Ex: I (be) was at home yesterday.
