Write three things you know about Dalat? - It is located in the South Central Highlands and it is a popular tourist attraction in Vietnam. - It is the capital of Lam Dong province. - It is known as the City of Flowers and Flowers Festival is held annually there. It also has famous waterfalls, pine hills, love valley and Xuan Huong lake. It has mild temperature which is cool all year round.

We are staying at the Crazy House Hotel. Wow! It really is crazy. Da Lat is nice. It’s cool all year round. There are a lot of things to see and lots of tourists too. There are ten rooms in the hotel. They are named after different animals. There is a Kangaroo room, an Eagle room, and even an Ant room. I’m staying in the Tiger room. It’s called the Tiger room because there is a big tiger on the wall. The Tiger is between the bathroom door and the window. The bed is under the window - but the window is a strange shape. I put my bag under the bed. I put my books on the shelf. There is a lamp, a wardrobe and a desk. There are clothes on the floor - it’s messy, just like my bedroom at home.   12. 5. Create a new room for the hotel. Draw a plan for the room. - Why is the room called the room? ( Dog / Cat / Horse / Dolphin / Porcupine / Alligator / Rhino, etc.) - Where is your bed ? (under the window / next to the door / in the corner / in the middle of the room ) - What are there in your room? (a TV / a fridge / air- conditioner / a stereo / a CD player / a piano, etc.) - How is your room?   13. 5. Create a new room for the hotel. Draw a plan for the room.
  14. 6. Show your plan to your partner then describe the room to other students in the class. This is my Rhino room. There is a big bed in the middle of the room. There are two lamps next to the bed for me to read books at night before sleeping. There is a big TV on the wall, opposite to my bed. I can lie in the bed watching TV. There is also a sofa and two armchairs in my room, too. There is a desk and two chairs for me to study. There is a bathroom in my room, and there is a fridge in front of the bathroom. The most interesting thing about my room is the big balcony where I can enjoy the fresh air, watching lines of people moving in the streets below. You should visit my room. It’s great.
  15. HOMEWORK - Review prepositions of place and the structures “There is / are ”. - Write a short passage describing the room you design for the hotel in order to show in class next time. - Do exercise C and D in workbook (page 12 – 14) - Prepare SKILLS 2 (page 23).
